To say Lynwood Park has history would be a huge understatement. The neighborhood has been going through transitions for 50+ years and continues to this day. Lynwood Park has been a historically African American neighborhood, founded by the decedents of servants from Brookhaven proper. It is located just north of Brookhaven proper, has become a haven for builders and renovators selling rehabs and new construction homes young affluent families.
